This Week at Village House of Books

We've got a fantastic lineup for both Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon.

Wednesday, November 6, we'll have both Jennifer Skully (AKA Jasmine Haynes) and Shelley Bates (AKA Adina Senft).  Jennifer writes erotic romance and will be reading an excerpt from her book, The Naughty Corner (don't worry/I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Jennifer will be reading a relatively tame section of the book!).  Shelley will read from her book, The Tempted Soul, which is the 3rd book of her Amish Quilt Trilogy.  In fact, Shelley will be doing an Amish makeover on a volunteer from the audience.  Below you will see a description of the makeover.

On Saturday, November 9, Hannah Schwartz (AKA Hannah Jayne) will be here to read from her YA (young adult) thriller Truly, Madly, Deadly.  She will also have some copies of her paranormal series, The Underworld Detection Agency.

I have read a total of 9 books from these 3 authors (no, they're not all Jennifer's!).  I know that you will enjoy seeing them and, especially, reading their books.

The Amish are called the Plain People, but everything they wear has a story. Adina Senft will give a volunteer an Amish makeover, explaining the spiritual meanings behind each item of a woman's dress. She'll also have the quilt on hand that her characters sew during the course of her Amish Quilt trilogy.
